Privacy policy
For the app "rclone ServerMan". Last updated: October 2026.
Summary
This is a personal backup tool used by one person, on their own server, with their own Google account. No data is collected about anyone, and no data is shared, sold or sent to anyone.
What Google data the app accesses
With the account owner's permission, the app uses the Google Drive API to list, upload, download and delete files in the owner's own Google Drive. It does this only to store and restore the owner's encrypted backups.
How the data is used
- Files are encrypted on the owner's server before upload, so the stored backups cannot be read without the owner's keys.
- Google user data is used only to provide this backup and restore function for the account owner.
- It is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics or training of any kind.
Sharing
No Google user data is shared with, sold to, or transferred to any third party. There are no other users, no servers run by anyone else, and no analytics.
Storage and security
The OAuth sign-in token is stored only on the owner's own server, in a file readable only by the owner. Backup files are stored in the owner's own Google Drive, encrypted.
Retention and deletion
Old backups are deleted automatically by the owner's backup schedule. Access can be ended at any time by removing the app at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which revokes the token.
Limited Use
The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Contact
This is a private tool with no users other than its owner, so there is no public contact address. The owner manages it directly.
